I’ve said it before and I will say it again over and over: Print Your Photos!
Digital photos are amazing, but photos deserve to be printed too. Twice this year I have had clients call me close to tears because they lost their digital photos. Not only do we need to print our favorite photos to preserve them, but so they can be enjoyed!
Don’t worry, I practice what I preach.
I make photo books each year, and I have several photo walls in my living room. I also have a variety of canvases and mounted photos throughout my house. Yeah, we pretty much have photos everywhere. In fact, the only decorations we have our photos.
Today I’m going to make it just a little bit easier for one of you to put photos of your wall. The owner of Canvas Factory was kind enough to let me try out their services and offered a FREE 16×20 canvas to one of you readers. *

Long-time readers will probably recognize this image. It is one of my all-time favorite photos of Apollo.
The ordering process from Canvas Factory is quick and easy. I had my photo uploaded and ordered in less than ten minutes. The canvas was at my door just a little over a week. It came packaged in a cardboard box, with the canvas itself sealed in plastic. The box was dented in a few places, but the canvas was packed well with the corners protected (see below).
There are two things I am really picky about when it comes to ordering canvases:
I want the corners to be pulled good and tight and
I want the image to wrap around the edge (some canvases have a black edge instead of having the wraparound style).
The Canvas Factory met my standards on both of these. You can see how tightly the corners are folded. Because I chose an image with a black background you can’t actually appreciate the the wraparound edge as you would in a different photo, but it is there.
The Canvas Factory Canvases come ready to hang with a sawtooth piece already in place on the back.
I couldn’t quite capture it in a photo, but there is a slight bit of (purplish) coloring around Apollo’s stomach just to the left of the g-tube. You have to really be examining the photo to see it. I have no problem loving this canvas and hanging it in my living room, but the coloring would certainly stop me from giving it to a client. This is my only complaint about the canvas.
This canvas makes a beautiful addition to our home. Apollo is so proud of the photo and I am happy to finally have one of my favorite images on display in our home!
If you would like to enter to win a FREE 16×20 canvas from Canvas Factory just leave a comment telling me which photo you would like on a canvas and why. I will randomly draw a winner in one week.
