I had to do a double take! I thought you were Adalia! How on earth do you look so young with so many kids?! I just have four and my hair is quickly becoming more gray than brown and I’m just kissing 30(we aren’t making out.. we aren’t that close yet 😉
Ah, the curse of looking young. I have about 4 gray hairs…I got them during Apollo’s pregnancy. I’ve always looked WAY younger than I am. Not fun when you’re married and pregnant at 19. I am still waiting to be old enough to be happy to look ten years younger than I am.
I bet. We saw that pic you posted awhile back and I thought maybe you were holding a sibling and I believe it was Adalia..You did and do look so young. I always looked way younger until our oldest son and his special needs emerged. that aged me about 10 years! LOL!
Ack! He grew up in the time it took me to scroll to the bottom of your post. My what a difference a bit of hair makes. He does look mighty handsome in his new ‘do. He’s going to have those nurses swooning over him next month!
I thought I noticed a haircut in the picture of him on Kalina’s birthday post….he sure does look “big boy-ish” – at least he still has those baby curls when it’s wet!
I can’t even stand it! LOL! Apollo looks SOOO cute! I have yet to cut Noah’s hair(same age). We usually wait until the next baby to cut the youngest hair…just a fun thing we do. We are turning in our adoption profiles Monday so I hope Noah can hold out a little longer until we get matched with a birthmom.
He has thick black curls. He is of Indian ethnicity and I am so afraid to cut it. The other kids had/have curly hair too and I found it only made it thicker and curlier when we cut it….so I am a bit over that fear, but not completely. 🙂 So cute!
Liz, that method probably would have worked just fine for us. As you’ve noticed, by babies don’t exactly excel in the hair department! Apollo is the oldest boy to have his first haircut. Judah was about 14 months (Tilly was already born), Enoch just before his first birthday, Hezekiah was 7 months (I shaved his head…don’t ask) and Tucker was 15 months. Please email me a pic of your kiddos…I’d love to have faces to go with the names 🙂
Oh, he is precious! But I agree, those first haircuts squeeze your heart up! I’m secretly happy that I get to wait quite a bit longer for that milestone now that we have a daughter 🙂 (And I agree with all the above commenters who thought you were Adalia at first glance — you look so vibrant and pretty!)
He’s SO big! When did you decide he could grow up?
Cute!!! He looks so grown up!

So glad I am not the only one! I, too, thought “gee, Adalia looks older there.” Then realised it was you! Wow, absolutely identical.
Darling! He looks so grown up and you look so young. Amazing!

The first haircut is so bittersweet…
