Recent and upcoming happenings:
* Tilly got a tooth pulled yesterday and gets braces placed on Tuesday. As I’ve talked about in the past, I’m not a huge fan of orthodontics to make teeth “perfect” but she’s got some serious bite issues. Thanks to our tax return I was able to pay for the entire cost of her braces in one lump sum.
* Kalina’s hearing aid is ordered and we are just waiting for it to arrive. I will post more when she has it and I have photos of her wearing it.
* Judah now has over half of the money for his trip to Zambia. Unfortunately it’s supposed to all be turned in by May 15, though technically he has until he arrives at Boot Camp (first week of June). Our scrap metal drive has brought in over $1,000 and he’s earned a lot working (painting, farm work, yard work, cleaning and more).
* Adalia is looking for summer work, preferably some type of nanny/babysitting position.
* Avi and Mordecai both came home with Student of the Month certificates this week
* I have the same tech person who sped up my Little Earthling site scheduled to work on this blog on Monday, so hopefully my technical difficulties will son be a thing of the past.
Have a great weekend!

i still haven’t rec’d my paperwork to make a donation for Judah???
Would Adalia be willing to travel to Indiana for the summer? Just kidding, sort of. I would love to have a helper this summer. And I think someone from a large family would be awesome. We have 11 at home and my oldest, a junior, who is usually a big help will be taking beauty college classes from 8-4 most of the summer through a program at our high school.
I love that picture of the laundry:) Mine looks like that quite often and I only have 2 kids. But, we do have 16 furry babies running around (pet rescues!)
Wow! A lot of really big, exciting things happening in your family! I’m especially happy for Avi and Mordecai…and Tilly…and Kalina! We will keep Judah and Adalia in mind and will call if we have a job for them.
Thanks, Judy.
I just loooove the photo. I am glad to see your house is a live in home and not a showhouse. Be Blessed.
Who can ever say you don’t “keep it real” — love your picture of a REAL home!
Yes, I probably keep it a bit too real most days…
Love seeing the pic of the sock explosion! It looks exactly like our socks explosions. 🙂
