I was sent the book Look! Babies Head to Toe by Abrams Appleseed to review. I received no compensation for this post (though it has Amazon affiliate links).

As I mentioned in this post, when I headed to New Zealand I went armed with a huge stack of books I was planning to use to sweet-talk Percy. As it turns out, I didn’t need to sweet-talk Percy because he is a happy, outgoing kid, who was in my arms within minutes of me arriving at his house.

I still brought out the books and spent plenty of time reading to him. Much to my surprise, Look!: Babies Head to Toe was hands down his favorite book.

Percy loved the pictures of all the babies in the book. I loved the diversity of the babies. If you read my book reviews, this is always something I look for in picture books. I believe all children need to be represented.

Here he is playing peek-a-boo like the baby in the book. I’ll be honest, I was surprised this was his favorite book out of the ones I brought. Two were about trains, one had animals, but this baby one was the clear winner.
