Have you heard of The Book With No Pictures by BJ Novak? I certainly hope so. It was a #1 New York Best Seller. As the books says,

“You might think a book with no pictures seems boring and serious. Except . . . here’s how books work. Everything written on the page has to be said by the person reading it aloud. Even if the words say . . .

BLORK. Or BLUURF.”

The Book With No Pictures is hilariously funny.

And if you know anything about kids, you know they love non-sense words like Blork or BLUURF. Dr. Suess, anyone?

The Book With No Words is hilariously silly.

And they love watching adults act silly…and maybe even embarrass themselves a little.

Well, Novak just upped the fun a few notches by writing My Book with No Pictures.

My Book With No Picutes has fun fill-in the blank pages taht will having you rolling in laughter.

This version is full of fill-in-the-blank pages for even more fun. His style of writing reminds me of a combination of Dr. Suess and Shel Silverstein…especially Silverstein’s Uncle Shelby’s Book of ABZs.
