These Spicy Lettuce Wrapped Buffalo Burgers are amazing!
When we bought our first house in 2000 our biggest desire was to have a nice piece of property for our kids to grow up on. “We can always add onto a house” we’d say “but we can’t make a piece of property bigger”. In the last seventeen years, our family has expanded and contracted, changed in ways we could never have imagined…but here we are…enjoying everything our property has to give us. Tilly and Jared’s engagement photos? All taken right here in our yard.
And speaking of Jared….we grilled burgers while he was here and I got to enjoy my favorite Spicy Lettuce Wrapped Buffalo Burgers.
I love the delightful crisp it adds and I enjoy the contrast between the hot burger and cool lettuce. So. Good.
So..we love Frank’s RedHot in our house. In fact, my girls love to talk about how much they love Frank’s RedHot and how they can’t imagine life without it.
Frank’s RedHot has the perfect combination of flavor and heat. The only sauce I love more is Frank’s RedHot is Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Wings Sauce. Seriously, I put that s….auce on everything!
Frank’s RedHot Original is the most versatile sauce that can be used for a wide variety of dish types. I love it on burritos, quesadillas, and chicken gumbo.
Did you know Frank’s RedHot was used as one of the ingredients in the first Buffalo Chicken Wing in 1964? In other words, if it ain’t Frank’s RedHot it ain’t buffalo!
When I took the top photo of Kalina, I told her it made it look like the hamburger was her boyfriend. “It pretty much is” was her answer.
Can’t argue with that.

One of the things Tilly really wanted to do while Jared was here was to have a bonfire. Then she dropped the bomb...Jared had never made s’mores! What??? We definitely had to fix that. Thankfully we have an awesome fire pit that Chuck built years ago.
The kids enjoyed showing Jared the finer points of marshmallow roasting and s’more making.
I asked Jared if he thought the s’mores were worth a trip to the US.
He said maybe not the s’mores…but a certain daughter of mine was definitely worth the trip…Look at that smile. Jared is always a good sport.
And now…for my Lettuce Wrapped Buffalo Burgers. Be prepared to have your tastebuds amazed!!!
