We took this along on our visit to Northern State Hospital. Made correctly, this guacamole is hearty with lots of large avocado pieces and makes a perfect light lunch or filling side dish.
This pairs perfectly with my chalupa recipe, corn tortilla recipe and chicken enchilada recipes!
I never thought of using salsa–this sounds interesting. I’ve made mine with avocado, lots of chopped fresh garlic, fresh lemon juice, chopped fresh red onion, chopped fresh red bell pepper and sometimes a little chopped tomato, a chopped hard-boiled egg, salt and pepper. But looking forward to trying your recipe!
Yes, add your favorite salsa (just a bit) and you will be amazed at how good it is. Also, the fresh lime is ESSENTIAL.
Thanks! Looking forward.
