Five months old. He's hit 13 pounds 15 ounces. One more ounce and he'll be back to his four month weight. He's well and finally putting some fat back on his little thighs.
My poor long suffering husband…he walked in the house the other day and said, "What is my son wearing?!" I tried to explain that in 2010 leg warmers are perfectly acceptable for boys. I'm pretty sure he believes they're a dreadful mistake that should be buried with the Eighties, asymmetrical haircuts and blue eye shadow.
See this picture? This is what its like trying to take pictures of Apollo. He won't keep even his legs still long enough for a photo. His mysterious flipping and flopping in utero is no long a mystery. This boy doesn't stay still.
Ah, there we go. Both feet in the photo at the same time. And it only took about 20 frames to get it.
I love baby leg warmers! The only hard thing about baby wearing in the winter is the gap between the top of the socks and the bottom of the pants. Baby leg warmers close the gap. They they are so darn cute. My husband isn’t big on them either but since I generally do the dressing (and the baby wearing) I still put them on babies.
Sean doesn’t like the leg warmers either, but i think that is from memories of our little girl wearing them to church under a dress only to find out she forgot other undergarments! Not a good look.
SOOOOO cute!!!!! Baby toes may be the most precious thing ever!!
Ha ha I can see how it might distress Chuck a bit, but they are so darn cute and that second to last photo just makes me think he’s doing the whole Jane Fonda workout.
Oh no, Heather! Dont say Jane Fonda….thats not going to make Chuck feel any better 🙂
